Deus, cui próprium est miseréri semper et párcere, Te súplices exorámus pro ánima fámili tui Emanuel Lê Phong Thuận, Episcopus Dioecesis Canthoensis, Vietnam, culo migráre iussíti: ut non tradas eam in manus inimíci, neque obliviscáris in finem, sed iubeas eam a sanctis Angelis súscipi, et ad patriam paradísi perdúci; ut, quia in Te sperávit et credidit, non poenas inférni sustíneat, sed gaudia aetérna possídeat. NHÂN DANH CHÚA.
Tình đệ huynh đích thực không bị chia cách ngay cả trong sự chết. Phúc thay những người đã chết mà được chết trong Chúa.
Lạy Thiên Chúa, Người luôn có lòng từ bi thương xót và tha thứ, chúng con hạ mình cầu xin Chúa cho linh hồn tôi tớ Chúa đây là Emmanuel Lê Phong Thuận, GM giáo phận Cần Thơ, mà hôm nay Người đã gọi ra khỏi thế gian này về với Chúa; xin đừng quên và đừng để linh hồn ấy vào tay kẻ dữ, nhưng lệnh truyền cho các Thánh Thiên Thần đón nhận vào quê trời; để linh hồn ấy thoát khỏi hình phạt hỏa ngục, để tận hưởng niềm vui vĩnh cửu vì có lòng tin và hy vọng trong Ngài. Chúng con cầu xin nhân danh Chúa Giêsu Kitô Chúa chúng con. Amen.
Lạy Chúa xin hãy ban cho linh hồn ấy an nghỉ ngàn thu và xin hãy chiếu ánh sáng vĩnh cửuxuống linh hồn này.

La vera fraternità non viene separata neppure nella morte. Beati i morti che muoiono nel Signore.
Dio, di cui è proprio l’aver sempre pietà e dare perdono, umilmente ti supplichiamo per l’anima del tuo servo Emmanuel Lê Phong Thuận, Vescovo di Diocesi Cần Thơ, Vietnam, cui oggi comandasti di uscire da questo mondo; non abbandonarla in mano del nemico, non dimenticarla, ma comanda ai santi Angeli di accorglierla nella patria celeste; affinchè scampate le pene dell’inferno, goda per aver creduto e sperato in Te, i gaudi eterni. Ti preghiamo in nome di Gesù Cristo. Amen.
L’eterno riposo dona lui Signore e risplenda a lui la luce perpetua.

La verdadera hermandad no es separada ni siquiera en la muerte. Encantados los muertos que le mueren en el Dios.
Dios, de que es justo y siempre tener piedad y dar perdón, te suplicamos humildemente por el alma del tuyo sirvo Emmanuel Lê Phong Thuận, Obispo de Diócesis Cantho, Vietnam, cuyo hoy mandaste de salir de este mundo; no la dejes en mano del enemigo, no la olvides, pero manda a los santos Ángeles de accorglierla en la patria celeste; para que salvéis las penas del infierno, goce para haber creído y esperado en Ti, los gozos eternos. Te rogamos en nombre de Jesús Cristo. Amén.
El eterno descanso dona él Señor y resplandezca a él la luz perpetua.

True fraternity is not even separated in the death. Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord.
God, of which is really to have always pity and to give pardon, we humbly beg you for the soul of your servant Emmanuel Lê Phong Thuận, the Bishop of Cần Thơ Diocese, Vietnam, which you today command to go out of this world; don't abandon his soul in hand of the enemy, not to forget it, but command the holy Angels to accept his soul in the celestial kingdom; so that the punishments escape from the hell, enjoys for having believed and hoped in You, the eternal joys. We pray to you in name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Oh Lord, give him the eternity rest and shine up to him the perpetual light.
May he rest in peace (R.I.P)
